Recommendations for bench top milling machines

I learned a long time ago, the hard way, that a benchtop machine takes up no less space than a floor mounted one. Worse, it takes that space off your BENCH. A Benchmaster on a heavy duty bench will not take up much less space in your shop than a small Van Norman (6 or 12) and there is just no comparison in terms of accuracy and rigidity.
